A Storks and More first!

Our "parent" company is Storks and More, Inc. We place storks (or other items) in the yard to announce a new birth. Today was a first! The sibling stars we have are so that the siblings can announce they are now proud big brothers and/or sisters.... These wonderful parents thought they could not have have children, so they had three dogs they loved as their children. When William came along, they decided to recognize their dogs as proud siblings! I think that is awesome.
As you can see, (or maybe not since he's so small, our little Mickey was along for the ride!

Buzzards, Buzzards, Everywhere!

We've been really busy lately with our displays. YEAH! We love to be busy! It's been crazy.... but crazy is good!! Here is a picture of one of our recent displays of an old geezer, no longer a babe pleaser!
It seems that themes tend to run in cycles... The latest trend has been the buzzards and/or tombstones! Some popular phrases have been referencing the youth that is laid to rest.... shown by this picture sent to us by a customer.

Prior to that, our bra display was the hot ticket where people were showing their support to the intended growing older. Little by little we are doing away with our three dimensional "critters" and going to 2-D. We have a new dinosaur display that needs to make their debut. They are laid on the coro, but we've not had time to cut them out. They are so adorable, if I do say so! Maybe we can get them finished and posted soon.

Oh, we still do the ever popular flamingos, so fear not, they are not extinct! They are still very popular among our clients! We don't forsee ever doing away with our beloved 3 D mingos! It just would not be the same, don't you think?

Mission Accomplished!

Today is Independence Day for our nation.... We are blessed to live in a country with so many freedoms that were only possible thanks to the brave soldiers in our armed forces that have fought for our freedom. Thank you!

It was also the 18th birthday of our client's son. She wanted us to incorporate Independence Day with his birthday. It was a tall task, but we are always one to rise to a challenge. We typically work well under pressure. We had our new penguins which we had yet to introduce to our site and we had a tall penguin that we could "dress up". We bought some patriotic fabric and went to work making a new "shirt" for him. We found some flags we could hang, and wah-lah... Mission accomplished!

Our client was thrilled, as was her son. It is always a good feeling to see a happy customer! Happy customers are our best advertisement!

Wishes for an Uplifting Birthday!

Our assignment was to put out our bra display for a 75 year old birthday guy! We were told to drop them off anytime we wanted to.... it really didn't matter to our gift giver. So, we decided to make it an early night and go around 9:00 p.m. We pulled up to the home and did our usual cut off the running lights on the car, park down from the home, and get into stealth mode.

Well, no sooner did we get started placing our display in the lawn and we hear the door open and a gentleman walk down the sidewalk. We froze in place, and as he walked, I was sure he had seen us as it was not yet completly dark. Buddy spoke to him (more to let him know we were there cause come on, he is 75!) and scared the beans out of him! He had not seen us at all! It was so funny! Had we just kept frozen, he would have continued his walk in the neighborhood and would have been surprised upon his return!

After he regained his composure, he asked what we were doing! It appears this was for him! He promptly turned around and went back in the house!! Bless his little heart! He didn't want to spoil his surprise! So.. Happy 75th Birthday, Jalil! Hope you have a great day!

Unique, out of the box kind of gift!

Picture it ~having your loved ones waking up to a flock of flamingos in their yard. Or maybe they are coming home from work or school and thought nobody remembered their big day, only to arrive and find a flock waiting to greet them.
A keepsake sign announces a birthday, anniversary, or event for everyone who passes by to see. Maybe you'd like to point out that your loved one is over the hill.... we can help you! Tombstones and buzzards will be planted with care. Maybe a promotion has been given. We have smiley faces placed before they can return home from work to help share in the joy! Or maybe you'd like balloons that won't deflate or fly away, with congratulations or happy birthday spelled out across their yard.
Regardless of the occasion, the look on your loved ones face will be priceless. Even if you did forget until the last minute, we are only a phone call away from making your gift a memorable one. Come on in and browse around. If you don't see what you are looking for, contact us and see if we can help at http://www.flamingonightmares.com/
